Mobina Galore, based out of Winnipeg, MB, Canada, are a vocally aggressive power chord punk rock duo formed in 2011 by Jenna (guitar/vocals) and Marcia (drums/vocals). They are signed to New Damage Records (North America) and Gunner Records (Europe/UK). Their latest album, Feeling Disconnected, was released on Feb 24, 2017 following an extensive tour in Canada, the States, Europe and the UK including dates at Groezrock, Punk Rock Bowling and FEST. They were nominated as Rock Artist of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards in 2017.
2016 found them mostly on the road; including a 16 date support tour with Against Me! in Europe and the UK following their Dec 2, 2016 release, Singles & B-Sides EP. CBC Radio 3 naming them one of the Top 15 Punk Bands in Canada of 2015. Their 2014 release, Cities Away, was released independently in North America in Dec 2014 and through Gunner Records in Europe in Sep 2015. The debut single “Bad Love Song” tackled the charts reaching #6 in high rotation on CBC Radio 3, was picked up by select commercial rock stations in Canada and Europe and received a placement on the YTV show, Open Heart.
They have toured numerous times in Canada, Europe, the UK and America and have showcased at Canadian Music Week, Pouzza Fest, NXNE, Big Fun Festival, Juno Fest and Golden Sound Festival and are often compared to the likes of The Distillers and L7. Some artists Mobina Galore have opened up for include Against Me!, Propagandhi, PUP and Milk Teeth.
