MIKE MAIMONE (Mutts)

As a performer, Mike Maimone leaves it all on the stage. Sean Moeller of Daytrotter said he "goes from a tame resting heart rate, living beneath a harvest moon, to pure adrenaline -- instantaneously. He goes from zero to a hundred quicker than most." Maimone has averaged over 100 tour dates each year since 2007 as a solo artist, with his band Mutts, and as keyboardist for other acts. Recent highlights include Mutts performances at Riot Fest, headlining the Metro, SXSW twice and Summerfest twice. Previously he played keyboards for Company of Thieves at Lollapalooza, on Last Call with Carson Daly and headlining sold-out venues including Bowery Ballroom in New York and Belly Up in San Diego. Along with his trio Mutts, Maimone has written and released 4 albums and 3 EPs since 2009. The most recent LP from Mutts, Fuel Yer Delusion vol. 4, is their fourth consecutive album to chart on the CMJ Top 200. Their 2013 album Object Permanence was named one of the year's best by WXRT Chicago's Finest Rock.
