Hailing from Kent in the UK, Rod Azlan has always been involved in the Dub and Reggae sound systems dotted around the south of England and now alongside his more recent conquests in today’s modern Dubstep sound movement. In 2007 Rod met Caspa & Rusko, two of the scenes biggest stars on the verge of crossing over into the mainstream. Together they formed a friendship that helped bring a refreshing sound and MC’ing style to the dark moody realms of the Dubstep world. Rods Rastafarian background and positive outlook on life gave the crowds a much needed breathe of fresh air. Shortly after, Rod featured on the Caspa & Rusko FABRICLIVE37 which was the first Dubstep compilation to reach the masses via the infamous Fabric Records series.
