MATT MARKA of ADA JANE

Born and raised in Mankato, MN, Matt Marka is a Minneapolis based musician. Marka has released numerous albums, EP’s, and singles, with current and former bands including naked bob, Dog Day, Brittle, and Ada Jane, as well as releasing several solo records under his own name.

Over the course of the last 25 years Marka has played hundreds of shows with these various musical outfits including shows in Canada, Ireland, the UK, and all over the United States along the way opening for acts as diverse as Jawbreaker, The Offspring, Heartless Bastards, Jolie Holland, John Darnielle of The Mountain Goats, and Evan Dando.

These diverse live shows can and do include anything from solo and band performances to variety shows with dancers and comedians.Matt Marka has never had to open for a puppet show, but has had a puppet show open for him.
