Los Mesoneros, originally formed in Venezuela by Luis Jiménez, Juan Sucre, and Carlos Sardi, have built an international career within the Latin rock-pop scene, backed by eight Latin Grammy nominations and a powerful live presence that has positioned them among the region’s most respected acts.
Their live trajectory includes landmark performances such as headlining Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional—one of the most important venues in the Latin region—along with two sold-out shows at the iconic Teatro Metropólitan. Their international touring history spans packed venues in Madrid, Barcelona, Portugal, Caracas, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Lima, and Bogotá, as well as standout appearances on the main stages of major festivals including Lollapalooza Chile and Tecate Pa’l Norte, solidifying Los Mesoneros as a high-impact live band with a strong connection to their audience.
In 2019, the band released their third studio album, Pangea, one of the most successful projects of their career. The album featured standout songs such as “Te Lo Advertí” and “Últimas Palabras” and earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Pop/Rock Album, reaffirming their position within the Latin alternative scene.
In 2024, Los Mesoneros unveiled their fourth studio album, Nuestro Año, a record that marks a clear artistic and sonic evolution. The album expands their musical identity through the use of vintage keyboards, orchestral arrangements, influences from ’70s pop and rock, and subtle hip-hop elements, paired with more introspective and mature lyricism. Nuestro Año received a Latin Grammy nomination in 2024, further strengthening the band’s critical and industry recognition.
Looking ahead to 2026, Los Mesoneros are preparing a new creative chapter focused on fresh music and expanded international touring, reaffirming their long-term vision and their status as one of the most influential and enduring bands of their generation.
