The Baby Goat, a Native to Minneapolis, Minnesota, Matthew Beachy, known professionally as Lil Crush, is an Afro-Colombian singer, songwriter, and model. Crush is known for his Olympic anthem “Suni Lee,” an inspiring, upbeat song referring to local Minnesota gymnast Suni Lee who competed at the 2020 Olympics in Japan, receiving three medals (one of which being gold). Nonetheless, the song quickly picked up traction within Minnesota, and went on to become a national anthem for kids and young adults aspiring to be the best versions of themselves, a “Baby Goat.” Lil Crush’s versatility and desire to be innovative with different sounds is a reflection of his drive as a musician. Crush considers himself an artist not a rapper, experimenting with a multitude of instrumental arrangements as he perfects his artistry.
