lighthearted is a dynamic indie-folk band hailing from Athens, Georgia, fronted by identical twin sisters Gracie Huffman & Eliza Lemmon. Formed in 2019, the band draws from the deep wells of folk traditions and contemporary indie influences. Their recently released second album, we all live on borrowed time, showcases their dedication to making delicate and profound indie-folk music. Operating independently, lighthearted has played to crowds across the country, both of their own and opening for acts such as hey, nothing, Shallow Alcove, barrett, Johnnyswim, Hans Williams, Briscoe, and Sarah Kinsley.
