Le1f, the NYC-based hip-hop artist, released his debut studio album, Riot Boi, on November 13, 2015 via Terrible Records. The album features guest vocals from Dev Hynes (Blood Orange), Junglepussy, Don Christian, and Miss Geri, among others, and production from SOPHIE, Lunice, Boody, Blood Diamonds, Salva, Dubbel Dutch, Evian Christ and more. Le1f draws inspiration from the Riot Grrl Movement and artists like M.I.A. and Missy Elliott. The album is both a celebration of marginalized identities and Emma Goldman’s infamous quote, “If you can’t dance, it’s not my revolution.”
