Kyle Skye, a name that will not be placed in a box; a name that will create its own lane. A Minneapolis native, Skye says his head may always be in the clouds, but he is no amateur. He is soaring towards the future. He started experimenting with music production at the age of eight and writing at the age of ten. Music to him is more than a hobby; it is a way of life. It is Skye’s life and that life hasn’t always been easy. He learned at an early age, that no matter how good of a person he is, nothing is promised to him. Losing multiple family members in a short span of time, Skye says “music is an expression of my emotional experience.”
Wanting to provoke deep thoughts, his story is real. Skye does not want listeners to feel that he is just a one tracked artist. Bringing versatility and energy, he wants listeners to feel his passion. No labels allowed. Don’t label him with hip-hop or R&B. But hear him as someone that uses every aspect of music to portray the message. Skye is not afraid to be different because he truly believes in himself. “If it works, it works. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t.” But he won’t allow the streets’ aspect of music to stop him. Pushing through the limits, Skye says he just wants to live and he will never rest on his laurels. Not confusing his confidence with arrogance, Kyle Skye wants the world to know, “I’ll never stop!” He won’t stop until he has succeeded. He won’t stop until he’s reached his final destination. He won’t stop until he is great.
