Nunes’ musical genius, which began with songwriting at age 13, has grown organically. Her talent has caught the eyes of many, landing her guest appearances with artists such as Ben Folds, Rivers Cuomo (of Weezer), & Ben Kweller. She has performed at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival (TWICE!) and has been featured on CNN, Billboard, Lefsetz Letter, Nylon and more. She made her national TV debut as a musical guest on Conan O’Brien in January 2012. In July of 2011, her 3rd full-length album, Settle Down, raised $77,888 in fan-funding from Kickstarter.com – the highest amount pledged for a muscial album on the site at the time. Settle Down was released on Nunes’ own label, Modormo Records, on February 28, 2012.
