I’ve heard a lot of people say “music is my life.” I’m with them all the way music is more than that. I think it is life itself. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 13 and writing my own music for a while now. I’m in love with the Blues and folk music with a Tennessee hill country flavor to it. Life is a tapestry of highs, lows, and the in-betweens and you’ll find it all in folk and the Blues. If you intend to really live, to be the light of the sky and the darkness of the ocean depths then join me on a musical journey from the front porch of my life and take it all in.

Music is a body and a soul kind of experience. The words of a song speak to something deeper, richer, and vaster than anything we can conjure up in our minds. This is where my music rises from, where life rises from. There are a few musicians that play, write, and sing from down there like I do. I’ve been heavily influenced by a couple of these special artists, my main guys. When I sit in the front row of shows by Jeffrey Foucault and Kelly Joe Phelps, I take a journey to the places inside where the real deal is happening. They have the special talent of filling the canvas of life with music that grabs the heart and soul and takes them for a ride. They’ve been my guides to find the same magic inside and bring it to you through my songs and my guitar. Sitting down by a stream, or next to a crackling fire. Feeling the warmth of home with songs of passion and desire. That is what music is for me and what I hope my music is for you. Thank you for visiting my site, for taking a musical journey with me, and for sharing in this sacred expression of life and relationship. Everything has been given a song the birds of the air, the trees of the forest, the wind of the sky, The waters of a stream, they are all singing there song so I will sing mine.
