Jonah Freed

Jonah Freed, the U.K. born, Minneapolis raised DJ/producer also known as David MacLeod has been a contender in the Minneapolis bassweight scene since well before it was legal. By sneaking into his own shows from the age of 15, he’s had a head-start on many of his peers, and is already receiving support from bass-music heavyweights such as Quest & Liquid Stranger. In the last two years, Jonah Freed has revisited his U.K. roots and started exploring the deeper edges of bass music, shaping a dark, moody sound that has landed him on the same stage as dubstep pioneers such as Distance, The Others and Seven.
