John Murph

John Murph is a Washington, D.C.-based DJ, who specializes in deep house, jazz-funk, broken beat, disco, R&B, Afro-Latin, and boogie music. He's performed at Daddy Issues Minneapolis, Winter Jazz Fest NW, Washington, D.C.'s Rock the Park, the D.C. Jazz Fest, and the Quebec City International Jazz Festival. Murph is also an award-winning journalist, who's written for NPR Music, TIDAL Music, Washington Post, JazzTimes, and Down Beat. He also wrote the chapter, "Yesterday's Space Children" in Adrian Loving's book, Fade to Grey.
