Jack Campbell is a senior in high school in Duluth, MN. He has been writing songs since elementary school, released several records, and been involved in various musical projects including indie pop quintet Excuse Me, Princess. In February 2012, after recording the EP Control in his basement, Campbell learned from manager Chris Heidman that he could open for Howler at the Varsity Theater in April if he could put a band together. With less than two months to go on, Campbell teamed up with Blue Water Dance drummer Nate Rendulich and Small Kitchen Appliances trombonist Jimmy Arroyo-Roppo on bass and formed the Skeleton Keys. Playing a mix of Skeleton Keys and solo shows, Campbell plans to finish a full length in the fall and tour in support of it with Nate and Jimmy.
