Ike Willis played with Frank Zappa for 18 years. He was the voice of Joe's Garage as well as the sideman for the bulk of Zappa's albums. After Frank's untimely death on December 4, 1993, Ike began playing with Zappa tribute bands from all around the globe including Dweezil Zappa's -Zappa plays Zappa and in 2013 decided to promote his own albums and own band entitled THE IKE WILLIS PROJECT. Playing about 80% of his original cuts from the Shoulda Gone Before I Left and Dirty Pictures albums as well as some Frank Zappa favorites.
