Hustle Rose is Garage Soul/Funk band led by singer-songwriter & guitar player David Glen. Along with their Hustle Horns section with Nelson Devereaux on saxophone/flute and Noah Ophoven-Baldwin on trumpet, the band includes Miguel Hurtado on drums, Rob Coleman on organ/rhodes/synths and Chris Smith on bass. The band takes musical influences from Soul and Funk legends George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Al Green, and Prince with a lyrical and vocal influence of Raphael Saadiq, Otis Redding and John Mayer. Originally from Minneapolis, Hustle Rose spent two years playing the Chicago scene and touring around the Midwest after their original EP Release, The Sugar Water. Now back to their MPLS roots, Hustle Rose is set to release a full, live album of all new material this Spring to be toured and distributed nationally.
