Headaches

Toronto’s Headaches, aka Landon Speers, is a prolific musician whose work is characterised by layered textures and evocations of the subconscious. Never settling on one genre but constantly experimenting with ambient, drone and IDM sounds, Landon’s first release on NeuroPlastic, ‘Oh Honey / Genie’ is a warm, weird-pop, chopped-up electronic single. Landon is also a visual artist, photographer of such indie paragons as Kuhrye-oo and Steffaloo, has an enviable beard, and apparently makes good sandwiches. He’ll be touring with 4AD signees Purity Ring in late 2012, so prepare to hear a great deal more from this versatile artist.
