Hayden James released his first track in late June 2013, amassing millions of plays across Soundcloud and Youtube for his work. Producing immense summer house jams with soulful and evocative vocals his music has stockpiled consistently rave reviews from the US, Europe and Australia alike, being labelled the “face of the new Australian production music scene”.
Hayden’s first single “Permission to Love” garnered worldwide love and attention hitting #1 most blogged on Hype Machine, as well as becoming the most played track on national broadcasting giant Triple J in Australia. His debut EP out on tastemaker label Future Classic acquired much love worldwide, but didn’t’ prepare the indie label for the success Hayden would have with hit single "Something About You", released early 2015 on the label’s yearly compilation album. The single took the Australian dance scene by storm accumulating over 27 million plays on Spotify, the single going Gold and shortly after being nominated for the prestigious Australian ARIA award for “Best Dance Release.” As well as an array of other Australian awards solidifying Hayden’s spot as one of Australia’s most esteemed and celebrated producers.
Last Summer saw Hayden hitting the road, playing for a string of sell out venues on his national Something About You tour, subsequently jetting off to the Northern Hemisphere for his debut headline US tour, including his first performance ever at the infamous Coachella festival. Late 2015 to early this year saw him tour Europe alongside Odesza and Duke Dumont in 10,000 + head arena’s as well as playing enormous festivals such as Lollapalooza and Lightning in a Bottle. 2016 was set to be a huge year and there’s no sight of anything slowing down with a new single right around the corner and a debut album!
