The Hanson Family Band

The Hanson Family Band is a father and sons blues trio featuring bass, drums, electric guitar, and harmony singing. Blues Dad, Doug Hanson, and his two sons, Jake and Jeremy, have been performing together since they were 8 and 11, cutting their teeth playing 3-hour bar gigs, long before they had lost their baby teeth. 30 years later, they continue to enjoy the music that got them started on their musical paths. Expect to hear songs by folks like JJ Cale, Little Walter, and Jimmy Reed. Members of the Hanson Family Band have recorded and performed with many groups, including The Cactus Blossoms, Mason Jennings, Tapes ‘N Tapes, and Good Time Willy Blues Band.
