24-year-old Toronto native GUS can’t shut up about the summer. Or his friends. Or the trials and tribulations of young adulthood. Or being outside, or a tender heart, or moving away from home, or anything else he writes feverishly about. GUS’ music is inspired by Indie artists who tell stories in their songs, and he’s been crafting songs of his own for just over a decade now.
After university, GUS moved to LA to pursue a career in music because he’s allergic to stability, and also writing songs is his burning passion. Working as a writer for others in genres from Dance to Indie to Hyper-pop, GUS always comes back to his own artist project.
Playing live is the highlight for GUS who has played countless showcases in LA and Toronto and has joined Johnny Orlando on tours across North America, Europe, and Asia. Additionally, GUS recently flew across the pond to support LØLØ on her first headline tour in Europe, and is excited to be opening for her again during her North American leg. The vibes of GUS’ music are introspective, often electric guitary, and you can count on a strange song title. He’ll tell you how he feels in case you feel it too.
