Grand Courriers

On their first full-length LP, Grand Courriers explore the elements of their hazy synth-rock sound. Doesn’t It Come Easy is introduced with sprawling synth pads and Brady Lundy’s wistful vocals soon brought in and out of focus with shifting rhythms from drummer Alec Weber. "Coin Toss" leads off the string of driving guitars and synth backdrops that make up the Minneapolis group’s psych-tinged garage rock debut. Self-produced in a small Minneapolis home, the album’s weaving guitars and swirling synths are illustrated by sentiments of pomp, anxiety, and malaise. Doesn’t It Come Easy was mixed by Dex Wolfe and mastered by Dave Vettraino.
