FAUN

For over 25 years, FAUN has been enchanting its audience with unique concert experiences. With over 1,000 concerts around the world and gold- and platinum-nominated albums, FAUN has achieved tremendous international success through a combination of folk, archaic instruments, and modern musical influences. They created their own genre, “pagan folk,” and after all these years, they are more motivated than ever to bring the magic of ancient myths and legends back to life.

The band's performance incorporates many different instruments, including the hurdy-gurdy, key fiddle, various lutes, and many drums. Also, the melodic vocal section goes from solo folk-like singing of ballads to chant-like and enchanting vocal performances with up two four multi-layered voices. Influences of Celtic and Nordic folk and medieval music fusing with driving beats draw an ever-fast-growing crowd of followers.
