Emily Rhea, (formerly Dark Bunny) is a Minneapolis-based, singer-songwriter and producer who paints a world of love, passion, and self-empowerment. Her heartfelt bops blend catchy, rhythmic pop sensibilities with ethereal vocals and sincere lyrics.
A lifelong lover of music, Emily’s artistry is shaped by her classical music education, seeing her first Broadway show in New York at 7 years old, and countless river jams in the Driftless Region.
Drawing inspiration from the lush vocals of Ariana Grande, the introspective songwriting of Joni Mitchell and the danceable, electric productions of Robyn and Imogen Heap, Emily’s music captures the aura of moonlit drives under cherry blossom trees, the shimmer of starlight, and the intoxicating magic of a stolen kiss.
Emily’s debut EP is set to release in February 2025.
