DR. SLEEP (Jacktone Records)

Dr. Sleep has been DJing and making music since 2003. She started her career spinning new wave and synth pop, as well as playing in an experimental synth project called Paperboats. She returned to her roots in house and techno in 2009 and since returning to San Francisco in 2010, has held residencies at Public Works, 222 Hyde, Underground SF and the Deco Lounge. She has guested at many of the current underground San Francisco party institutions, such as Honey Soundsystem, As You Like It, Go Bang!, Haceteria, Booty Call, Viennetta Discotheque, Odyssey, Hot Pants, Comfort and Joy, and Bearracuda, to name a few. She has also DJ’d across the country and abroad, in such places as NYC, LA, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Columbus, and Shanghai. She currently runs Jacktone Records, broadcasts on Intergalactic FM's Radio Free Robotron (IF6) every Sunday at 9am PST, and, has upcoming releases on Tribal, Get Up Recordings, Obsolete Future and her own label.
