DJ Peaceboii

Music has always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My journey originally started in the church like most musicians, but music wasn’t necessarily my first love. FOOTBALL was my first love, but after a devastating ACL, MCL, and Meniscus tear in my right knee few weeks before college; my dreams of playing in the NFL was over, but Lucky for me I was somehow ALWAYS AROUND drums, guitars, piano, and even knew a few friends that were actually Djing at the time. After years of running away from the idea of pursuing music full time; it wasn’t till I met M3tro and Libianca when I started to take my craft seriously. Started spending countless hours in the studio. This year 2023 will make 3 years I’ve been DJing and 1 year of me doing my own events. Within just 3 years I’ve managed to travel out the country, work with major artists like Libianca, Rotimi, M3tro, and MORE! The passion I have for djing is unexplainable; I don’t know, I guess being able to create has always been my way of escaping. The sound I’ll say I love the most is Gospel because of my christian upbringing, AfroBeats, Amapiano, R&B, Dancehall, and Hip hop. But to be honest; I actually love and appreciate ALL the different genres of music in the world. In the next 3 years I see myself on a Superstar DJ status like DJ Tunez, Ecool, and Uncle Waffles. I am a Firm believer in God. What you speak can manifest, and what you WORK for is already yours. You just have to THINK POSITIVELY, but most importantly ENCOURAGE yourself along the journey. I’m excited for December 23rd at First Avenue. I can wait to show my city who I am and what I’ve accomplished within these few years since I came on the scene. See ya December 23!!!
