DJ Lady Em was born & raised in Minneapolis. She is a youth worker, poet and DJ. She Co hosted a radio program on KFAI, @VersedRadio, with her friend DJ Kary between 2013-2015. For the past two years she and DJ Michel Be have hosted the VIBE, a monthly dance night at Ginger Hop.
