Showcasing an eclectic garage rock style combining elements of everything from post-punk to alt-country, Milwaukee’s Diet Lite specializes in blending catchy riffs, creative songwriting, and a brand of energy that could be canned and sold. Diet Lite have found themselves at the forefront of a burgeoning young Midwest DIY scene that continues to gain momentum. Since holing up during the pandemic to hone their act and record their 2021 album, Seems To Be The Way It Tends To Go, they’ve played hundreds of shows across the Midwest and beyond, released two EPs, and landed a spot on the Shepherd Express “Best of Milwaukee” list as one of the city’s best bands. Diet Lite’s most recent LP, Into The Pudding, captures the essence of the high-octane, no-holds-barred live show and unrelenting verve the band has come to be known for.
