Devinci

At 20, Devinci (Devin Barksdale) is a triple threat, working in Minneapolis as an artist/producer/engineer and current student at IPR. Originally from Wisconsin, Devinci’s passion for music sparked at a young age when watching his dad record in studios across the Madison & Milwaukee areas. As a nine-year-old, he got his hands on a half-broken HP laptop and started producing beats with a free version of FL Studio. Seven years later, in 2016, he won the Madison Hip Hop Producer of the Year Award while producing and engineering for his friends behind the scenes. After graduating from high school, Devinci felt the need to branch out as an individual artist and unleash his full potential. Now, he is hard at work, daily, fighting for a chance to turn his passion into a full-time career. Presently, Devinci has released 2 solo EPs, a full album, and a collaboration project with Madison's Lil Keef, with more on the way.
