Dead Phones

Trading in a genre they call "Disco punk" and "Trash Disco," Brooklyn outfit the Dead Phones must love ripped bell-bottoms. They've got the fever, alright, but an unqualified "disco" tag wouldn't sum them up. These guys can hold down a searing synth line and a cheeky vocal, but they don't skimp on the post-punk pounding.
