Dead History

Dead History are a rock band from Minneapolis whose sound is a blend of post-hardcore, emo, shoegaze, and space rock that “pays homage to the fuzzy comfort of Swervedriver and Quicksand” [Paste Magazine] while often drifting into “atmospheric Hum-gaze territory” [BrooklynVegan]. The band’s family tree includes the likes of Picturesque, Align, Reach, Gratitude, Story of the Sea, Justin Courtney Pierre, BNLX, Rad Owl, The Book of Dead Names, Attention, Short Timer, Dirty Frames, and more. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2021 via Landland Colportage.
