I am a constantly evolving ball of human matter. Stardust, I suppose. Being flung at 67,000 mph around a burning firey pit, mindlessly self absorbed in my day to day life and completely clueless to the vastness of the realm that my insignificant existence floats through. I’m a middle class white American in my mid twenties…which means nothing other than to say I can’t complain. I’m both happy and sad all of the time. I make music to bring myself joy and to bring some sort of positive beauty into the world. I hope you like it.
I grew up in Savage, MN and dreamed of being a race car driver at a young age. No joke. But, when my dad played his guitar it mesmerized me, so I started taking lessons and immediately was writing my own songs and recording them. I started pop-punk bands and began playing in the church band too. After high school I attended McNally Smith College of Music and received an Associate’s Degree in Recording Technology. By then I had my own Pro Tools rig and a band called City of Sound. We put out two full length albums, toured regionally and got selected to play at Warped Tour. While attending school, I interned at Universal Music Group and when I was done with that I began engineering at a studio called The Sound Complex and then another studio called The Ludus.
