Da Black Pearll

Da Black Pearll (Tinitha Warren) was born in Chicago, IL. She was raised in Minneapolis, MN since the age of four. She found her love for poetry in the 4th Grade and has been writing ever since. In 1993 Tinitha earned the NFTE (National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship) Award of Minnesota Sponsored by Koch Refinery Company, as the young owner of her own African American greeting card company Black Berry Graphics, Inc... She was given congressional recognition from Congressman Jim Ramstad and the late Senator Paul Wellstone for her accomplishments. Inspired by her younger brother (Saint Paul Slim of G.O.B.), the desire to perform and share her thoughts with the public through spoken-word has grown over the years. The rebirth of herself, awaking her artistic skills allowed her the opportunity to birth Da Black Pearll, a product of sand and time. She has since named the Poets Groove (Blue Nile-Tuesday Open Mic) her sanctuary.
