WE MAKE MUSIC FOR DANCING, CRYING, AND KISSING.
Couch Dog is Maxwell Ferrer (lead vocals + guitar), Tasha Lee (bass), Pablo Acosta (lead guitar) and Liam Reece (drums). The band originally formed in San Luis Obispo, CA, and is currently based out of Los Angeles. Though they are an indie/garage rock band at their core, the dogs always aim to experiment with something new every release (whether it’d be glitchy electronics, gazey ambiance or stripped-back instrumentation).
Unraveler, their latest EP, is Couch Dog’s most sonically diverse release to date. The project excels at retaining their classic and beloved sound from 2023’s “How to Ruin Your Life Fast”, distinguished by energetic guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and earnest lyricism, but elevates it with left field experimentation, song writing from different members and new textures.
Since day one, they have placed an emphasis on putting on unforgettable live shows, helping audiences connect with their material deeply. Starting from sold-out house shows in their home town, to now headlining a US tour in 2025, they always work on fostering a strong sense of community, belonging, and freedom to go absolutely nuts in the mosh pit.
