Colin Meloy

Colin Meloy is the frontman and songwriter for The Decemberists and an author. The Decemberists formed in Portland, OR, in 2000. Since that time, the Grammy-nominated band has released eight albums including their latest, As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again, which was released in June 2024 on the band’s label Y.A.B.B. Records. Meloy has also recorded and toured as a solo artist.  In 2013, he released the latest in a series of cover EPs, Colin Meloy Sings The Kinks. Previous recordings feature the music of Morrissey, Shirley Collins, and Sam Cooke, along with a live album, Colin Meloy Sings…Live!.
