cleopatrick

Since their inception, cleopatrick, made up of Cobourg, ON natives Luke Gruntz and Ian Fraser, have proved themselves to be one of the most in-demand rising rock bands on the planet. They have amassed over 100 million streams, alongside a string of sold-out tours and festival appearances across Canada, the US, UK, and EU.

cleopatrick won a SOCAN Award for their Top 5 Canadian and U.S. radio hit and breakout single, “hometown”-- while their explosive debut album, BUMMER (2021), earned the band a JUNO nomination for 'Breakthrough Group of the Year.'

With their bold sophomore album FAKE MOON released in 2025, cleopatrick entered a thrilling new creative chapter. Recorded in Brooklyn with visionary producer Philip Weinrobe (Adrianne Lenker, Hand Habits), FAKE MOON reflects a more experimental, collaborative approach.

With a new album on the horizon, cleopatrick’s recently released song “WHAAT” marks a return to the heavy riffs and distortion of BUMMER and the band’s 2025 SCRAP EP.

From viral hits to genre-defying albums, cleopatrick continue to carve out their own lane, proving that rock's future is not only alive but thriving in the hands of a new generation.

It’s literally a song about people probably never hearing our songs. And then by some act of the universe, that song ended up unlocking all the doors for us.”

Today, cleopatrick has logged 77 million streams and counting - all from an increasingly dedicated fanbase who’ve found the duo, completed by drummer Ian Fraser, their own way: no major label, no big budget, just two best pals knuckling down, cementing a unique sonic alchemy and filling a space of honest, em
