The official formation of Chris Davies and The Promise Land Band came after their historic performance at the Turf Club in St. Paul on January 11, 2019. They are a Twin Cities-based band known for their splendid mix of Americana and Pop. Chris’ songwriting is inspired by the everyday struggles and triumphs of the human experience and the world around them.
Chris has long had the ability to put words and phrases together and then, at the age of 33, he decided to learn how to play the guitar and the songs just started to flow. The Promise Land Band features Joel Ocampo on drums, Jon Anderson on banjo and guitar, Sylvia Scoggin on fiddle, and Larissa Beck on background vocals and tambourine.
