Charlotte Lawrence

Hailed by Billboard for her “haunting take on pop rock,” Charlotte Lawrence has quickly proven herself a landmark milestone artist, fusing deeply personal lyrics with larger-than-life melodies and epic choruses to create a remarkable, multi-faceted musical vision all her own. The Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter has earned critical acclaim – and millions of worldwide streams – for breakthrough hits such as “Just The Same,” “Sleep Talking,” “Why Do You Love Me,” “Navy Blue,” and “Joke’s On You,” the latter of which was featured on Atlantic Records’ hit 2020 soundtrack, BIRDS OF PREY: THE ALBUM.

Lawrence’s debut album, Somewhere, released on June 27, 2025. The stories within the songs of Somewhere are torn pages from a diary no one was meant to read— brutally honest, soaked in longing, laced with heartbreak, danger, and the quiet persistence of hope. One of Lawrence’s standout and main collaborators on the album is Grammy-nominated Ben Gibbard, frontman of Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service. Other collaborators include Gracie Abrams, Chad Smith and Andy D. Park. Singles like “Us Three”, “Dog”, and “I Don’t Want To Dance” offer a glimpse into the cinematic scope of the record. Shortly after release, Charlotte embarked on the now-completed Somewhere Tour in North America, captivating West Hollywood to Toronto to Lollapalooza to New York City. Ultimately, Charlotte released Somewhere (Live At The Roxy) from her headlining performance at the iconic Los Angeles venue. Lawrence recently wrapped up opening for Sombr on his The Late Nights and Young Romance Tour across Europe.

Last Summer, she made her onscreen acting debut in the highly anticipated AppleTV+ series Bad Monkey alongside Vince Vaughn, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Michelle Monaghan. The series premiered on AppleTV+ on August 14 and follows a detective (Vaughn) demoted to restaurant inspector in Florida who then gets pulled into a world of greed and corruption. Lawrence plays Caitlin, a former print model and drug addict who has embraced a born-again lifestyle. Charlotte recently completed production on Season 2 of the series in an even more impactful role for Caitlin.

In 2023, Lawrence released the enigmatic track “Bodybag” in March 2023, along with a raw and beautiful visualizer featuring the singer-songwriter suffocating under the weight of plastic as a metaphor for the heaviness of heartache and love. In the ballad, Lawrence sings that she will continue loving her significant other through hurt and betrayal, because if it is true love… then it is worth coming back. “Bodybag” was featured in AppleTV+’s hit series Shrinking. “Bodybag” then became a standout inclusion in her debut record, Somewhere.

In 2022, Lawrence earned acclaim for the evocatively beautiful “Morning.” Produced by Ben Gibbard and Andy Park (Phoebe Bridgers, Mac Miller) and co-written by Lawrence, Gibbard, and Park, the track arrived alongside a stunning music video. Lawrence previously joined Madison Beer on THE SPINNIN TOUR, where she opened 16 shows across North America in major cities including Chicago, Nashville, Toronto, Boston and New York’s famed Radio City Music Hall. Lawrence also released the bittersweet pop single “How It Ends.” Produced by Jintae Ko (Sabrina Carpenter, OneRepublic) and Marky Style, the track’s introspective lyrics and moody melody exhibit Lawrence’s unique, captivating sound. In March of 2024, she released the single “I Don’t Want To Dance.” The single showcases her poignant lyricism and soft vocals amongst the upbeat and sentimental production.

With performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Kelly Clarkson Show, and support from outlets like Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, CR Fashion Book, ELLE, V Magazine, and more, Charlotte Lawrence is poised to bring her powerful, emotional truth to an even larger audience in 2025 and beyond.

In fashion, she has participated in campaigns for YSL, Versace Jeans, Rabanne Beauty, Sam Edelman, and Messika; and has attended international shows for fashion houses such as Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, Valentino, Rabanne, Chloe, Isabel Marant, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, and Michael Kors.

Lawrence currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
