CHAPPO

The NYC quartet CHAPPO pair funk ridden guitar work with delicate harmonies in the infectious single. Consequence of Sound describes it as "an even-paced slow jam that plays up to the band’s knack for disco flair." Born in the East Village in 2009, CHAPPO has created an enthusiastic and rambunctious following in just a few short years. Splitting the difference between the guitar driven psychedelia of 60′s west coast rock and the spiritual witch doctor moonshine of Dr. John, they regularly turn their live show into nothing short of spectacle. After releasing a pair of EP's Plastique Universe and Plastique Universe II: Pisces Princess in 2010 and 2011, they signed with Majordomo records to release their full length debut, Moonwater in 2012. CHAPPO will release their second LP, Future Former Self, on Votiv Music in 2015. The album will be preceded by an EP, Celebrate, featuring 2 singles and 2 b-sides from Future Former Self.
