Channel was born and raised in Lynwood, CA and his sound mixes “Detroit house with a West Coast rap bent.” He has previously written songs forKehlani, Duckwrth, and Shamir. Within the one month of release, “Controller” has already received tremendous critical acclaim as well as heavy rotation on BBC Radio 1, Radio 6, SiriusXMElectronic, and Triple J in Australia. He is signed to GODMODE (Yaeji, Shamir, etc.), and his debut self-titled EP came out July 27. His latest single “Jet Black” was named Best New Track by Pitchfork on July 13.
