Formed in the Summer of 2021, South Louisiana rock initiates, Cashier, have bloomed within the South Louisiana DIY community and have already begun spreading their roots outwards. Applying tonal inspiration from the more dissonant sonic selections of pre millennial rock monoliths to a modernized song writing ethic, Cashier exists at a converging point between these mentalities whose music serves as an amplifier for expression that would otherwise exist sight unseen in the backdrop of the rapidly evolving landscape of modern music. Fuzzy and dissonant, their tracks deliver feedback driven soundscapes that portray urgency and serenity in equal measure, underlined with pop catchiness and emotional sincerity. In live settings, Cashier cultivates a feeling of massiveness that feeds into and off of their ubiquitously kinetic audiences. Frenzied noise cuts through melody, blurring the line between performing and channeling.
