"Buildings were formed in the icy tundra that is Minneapolis, Minnesota in the year 2005. A year when emo/metalcore and Paris Hilton were all considered relevant. However, Buildings took a different approach to being relevant. Combining elements of '90s noise rock acts and a sarcastic attitude, they quickly found a sound that would become their signature. Abrasive vocals teetering on psychopathy, drums that beat your body down to insignificance and guitars that melt your insides. Their sound is a celebration of all the nefariousness that echoes throughout our collective consciousness. Throughout two decades of touring the states and the EU, Buildings have decidedly chosen to bring their brand of Midwest nihilism to the hungry masses. With a handful of LPs/EPs and split records, they have cultivated a brand of misanthropy that is the sentiment of humans across the world."
