Broken Bells, the team of serial collaborator Brian Burton (better known as Danger Mouse) and Shins frontman James Mercer, released their self-titled debut in March of 2010 and followed with the Meyrin Fields EP a year later. Since then, Danger Mouse has overseen albums by the Black Keys, Norah Jones and Portugal. The Man and entered the studio with U2 and Frank Ocean. Meanwhile, Mercer led the Shins through a well-received comeback with 2012′s Port Of Morrow. But they got the band back together, as Broken Bells returned in February 2014 with their second studio album, After the Disco, featuring the single “Holding On For Life.”
