Nashville-based alternative country artist Brennan Wedl sings the scenes of their life and delivers them with honesty and style.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Wedl relocated to Boston in their early twenties where they recorded their first two EPs, Jersey Devil and Holy Water Branch. Conjured from coming-of-age musings, these works focus on solitude, womanhood, and commanding instrumentals. While exploring this sound, Wedl co-founded cult queercore band Dazey and the Scouts and continues to be an active member.
Sleeping With Jeans On, their latest release, is a 4-song quarantine collection that introduces a twangy, edgier departure from their previous songs. Oftentimes writing from a man's perspective, Wedl taps into the heart of what it truly means to be present.
