Breezy2Fresh, born with the name Jean-Paul Bissong Akwa, was born and raised in Minnesota, but Breezy's true identity derives from his Cameroonian heritage. Having both parents born near the capital, it is understandable that the first music he was exposed to was the popular artists of West Africa. His own music journey began with his exposure to the Rap/Hip-Hop genre. Breezy has been writing music since he was 10 years old, diligently and patiently working on his craft and drawing inspiration from life, love, anime, and influences of all genres. Breezy prides himself most on his versatility. "My main goal is to use my voice to elevate the sound of any project I am on, whether it is my own body of work, or a collaboration. That is why we identify as fusion artists."
