Blue Ox Trio

The Blue Ox Jazz Trio is a group of young musicians led by drummer and composer Jack Schabert. Over the past two years, the group has held steady work performing at restaurants, clubs, private events, festivals, and over 50 retirement communities. The Trio holds regular performances with guest artists at St. Paul’s Herbie’s on the Park, and has performed at the New Hope Music Festival and the Twin Cities Jazz Festival. The group has recently featured Cyrus Wilson, Sophia Kickhofel, Jerome Treadwell, Peter Goggin, Hannah Harder, Ella Grace, Jackson Peters, Will Kjeer, Shawn Wang, Max Voda, Sam Worthington, Steve Kenny, Alex Charland, JC Sanford, and Dave Hagedorn.
