Blaze 1

From the streets to the CEO of a National Brand, the story of Blaze 1 is the classic tale of rags to riches. The middle of three kids to a single working mother, he learned at an early age that anything he wanted in life he would have to get for himself. Armed with this mentality, Blaze made a name for himself in the underground hip hop/graffiti scene in Sacramento, Ca. After his home was raided by the DEA, he moved to Chico to live with his father. Here he found his new passions, drumming and glass blowing. This is where he started to build his empire. He knew right away that traditional schooling and 9-5 jobs were not his destiny. He poured his energy into his passions, music and art.

He simultaneously founded a successful hip band and line of glass and street wear. From his garage to his own storefront, Blaze quickly soared to the top of his trade, becoming both a world renowned glass blower and “High Times Magazine Underground Artist of the Year.” During a band hiatus, he got antsy not playing music, so he started producing his own beats in his home studio. “I make my music to be banged in the club, or just bumped in your car. I want my music to inspire people to follow their dreams. No matter how hard your struggle is, if you try hard enough you can succeed.”

Blaze has shared the stage with big acts like, Redman, Andre Nikitina, Devin The Dude, Sen Dog of Cypress Hill, Del Tron, Chali 2na, Wakka Flocka, Burner, Afroman, and many others. After he put out his first mix tape in 2012, which generated great buzz, it inspired him to write more songs. Before he knew it, he had enough to make a full length LP. Working alongside legendary producer, “The Comish” out of New York, who studied under Quincy Jones and has produced records for talent like The Fugees, Amy Winehouse, and 50 Cent, Blaze finished his first solo album while at the same time recording a new album. He is set to release two full length albums for his debut in Spring 2014.
