Balloon Race

Minneapolis-based Balloon Race take a “yes, and…” approach to songwriting. The 4-piece band finds joy in the playful and collaborative process of stacking idea after idea on a single kernel of inspiration. Blending influences such as King Crimson, Battles, Soundgarden, Low, and video game composers such as David Wise, their songs tend to be dynamic, melodic, and a little wacky.
