Armstrong Leigh

Armstrong Leigh is an Austin/ Los Angeles-based duo consisting of Michelle Armstrong and Cristopher Leigh. Take her affectual voice, his incomparable guitar hooks, and weave in their harmonies and you have the unique sound of Armstrong Leigh. The Austin based duo first met years ago as members of different groups sharing the same stage. It wasn’t until one fateful night at a Bruce Springsteen concert in LA that Michelle Armstrong and Cristopher Leigh reconnected and realized their shared vision for music. Both inspired by the lyrical and melodic power of Bruce, Patti Smith, and Depeche Mode, the duo has set out writing together to create what they call is a reflective, timeless, and amorous experience within the songs they create.
