Arc In Round

Formed in Philadelphia in 2009, Arc in Round pull from the layered dissonance and experimentation of Disco Inferno and This Heat, motorik rhythms of Krautrock pioneers Neu and Can, and the more obvious sonic reference points of Broadcast, the Swirlies and My Bloody Valentine. Live, the band takes pains to bring their layered sound out of the studio and onto the stage for an immersive, crisply-executed show. After recently releasing two EPs, Diagonal Fields and II, Arc In Round's eponymous debut LP was released in June 2012. The sprawling record includes guest appearances by Philly luminaries Kurt Vile and Chris Ward of Pattern is Movement, and an extensive collection of remixes by A Sunny Day in Glasgow, Our Brother the Native, Ape School, Benoit Pioulard, Lymbyc Systym, Pink Skull and more.
