Andy Farag

Andy Farag started playing drums at the age of 17 and soon thereafter attended the annual percussion festival at Berklee College of Music. At Berklee, he was turned on to the "who's who" of the drumming world, and was instantly taken in by the experience. Andy later attended Indiana University where he began to work towards a music degree. In 1999, Andy began playing with some musician friends from South Bend, Indiana later to form Umphrey's McGee. As a full time member of Umphrey's McGee, Andy continues to craft his percussion skills while relentlessly touring the United States and abroad.
